well, I am glad you are covering all that. There are those of us who feel like the industry has pretty much discarded us. It is especially next-to-impossible if you live outside of NYC, because these days so much of the booking in the more high-intensity clubs seems to be based on hanging out and getting to know everyone. Which is not a real good way to sustain the music, though I may indeed be wrong about that. But I think it excludes a lot of players.
